In our tradition, the whole creation is considered a manifestation of God. The event was conducted in association with IMCTF, and the students participated in various activities such as offering flowers, singing bhajans, and displaying thematic posters to demonstrate their respect for plants and wild animals.

Our little sunbeams of Swamy's School celebrated "Yellow Day" with joy and freshness. The kids were wearing bright yellow outfits that showcased various shades of yellow. The children participated in wonderful learning activities such as making fruit salad and enjoyed eating fresh bananas, mangoes, pineapples, and lemonade. Talk shows about yellow objects, crafting, and games associated with yellow helped children sort and classify objects based on colours, reinforcing their cognitive skills. It was a sparkling day filled with brightness, joy, and happiness.

Our students were selected to participate in the Regional Round of the Young Indians Parliament, held on the 25th and 26th of July 2024 at the Egmore Museum Theatre. The event was honoured by the presence of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, the esteemed Former Vice President of India, and Shri Anbumani Ramadoss, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha. During the event, our students exhibited commendable dedication and actively engaged in debates, embodying the spirit of democratic engagement and leadership development. One of our students had the privilege of asking questions about current issues and policies to the government representatives during the question hour. They gained invaluable exposure to the inner workings of the Indian Parliament.

The Green Day celebration for our tiny tots was full of fun and environmental awareness. Our little champs engaged in various exciting activities crafted by the teachers to educate them about the importance of nature. One of the highlights of the day was the planting seeds activity. The hands-on activities like the Green Crafts Corner sparked their creativity and children made beautiful collages with leaves and twigs. Green-themed games were organised followed by stories about the environment and animals. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and much green. 🌳✨

The Intraschool cultural competition was recently held for two days and was open to students in classes IX to XII. The event allowed students to showcase their diverse talents in various activities, promoting a spirit of healthy competition. The competition included oratorical contests, solo and group music and dance performances, Rangoli and Kolam competitions, and an Art of the Waste competition, which aimed to raise environmental awareness through innovative recycled art pieces. Additionally, the recitation competition also impressed the judges, as students exhibited excellent memory and delivery of passages. Overall, the event was a great success, allowing students to learn from each other and encouraging excellence in various fields. 🎈🎉

Dr. Narasimhan also addressed the importance of stress management by finding healthy ways to cope with stress. In his speech, he reminded students to reduce screen time for a higher quality of life. Following his speech, there was an interactive session with the students about various aspects of healthy living. The session was both informative and relatable, leaving a positive impact on the students.
