The Annual Sports Day was an electrifying event, thanks to the sunshine, great team spirit and the talented performers. The Chief Guest for the day was Prof.Dr.Mohanakrishnan, Director of Sports, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Kattankulathur and the Guest of Honour was Mr.Aadharsh Srikaran, winner of Gold Medals for India in the European Championship, in the Powerlifting category. The day started off with the spectacular performance by the Marching Band, followed by a Marchpast by 4 houses of Swamy’s school. The torch was then lit by our talented office bearers and exemplary sports captains and vice captains. The Chief Guest then distributed medals, certificates, and trophies to all the winners of various events. The students showcased a plethora of events like yoga, aerobics and martial arts in their colourful costumes and props. It was a performance with focus, speed, balance, and sharp reflexes. The pyramid formation demonstrated the student’s grit, determination, and courage. Anandam House was adjudged the best and awarded the rolling trophy. The school band's top-notch performance received applause from all present, serving as a grand finale to the event. The programme concluded with the flag retreat ceremony, a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
