The Scouts and Guides of Swamy's Group of Schools had their two-day annual training camp on February 23rd and 24th, 2024. These camps are held to cultivate leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills among students. Through various outdoor activities, workshops, and team-building exercises, students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, challenge themselves, and grow personally and socially.
The activities for Day 1 and Day 2 included practising the Flag procedure and patrol system, practical sessions on signalling techniques, games to develop social and motor skills, Baden Powell’s (B.P.) six exercises for personal improvement, knot-tying, learning about the history of Scouting and Guiding movements, gadget-making workshops, comprehensive first-aid training, and woodcraft signs.
The camp concluded with a traditional campfire, creating lasting memories for all participants.
