The school’s Annual Day, held on February 11th and 12th, was a vibrant celebration of talent, hard work, and achievements. The event commenced with a prayer song by the school choir, setting the stage for an inspiring evening.
Distinguished guests graced the occasion, with Dr. Yamuna Srinivasan, Consultant Paediatrician and Adolescent Physician, attending as the Chief Guest on Day 1, and Dr. Asha Boaz, CEO of Boaz Public School, Chennai, presiding over Day 2. The school principals shared a comprehensive Annual Report, highlighting the year’s accomplishments. The ceremony also recognised students for their outstanding academic and cultural performances and honoured teachers for ten and fifteen years of dedication to shaping young minds.
The cultural performances were a visual delight. Day 1 opened with a devotional song, followed by an energetic Japanese dance. The audience was then treated to captivating performances, including English and Tamil dramas, a playful clown dance, and a dynamic Western dance. The evening concluded with a mesmerizing classical dance – Yoga Natyam, where students showcased their artistry while balancing on clay pots.
Day 2 was all about the Primary students, who took the audience on a magical journey. The story of Harichandra was brought to life on stage, followed by an energetic Goan dance and a graceful welcome dance on cartoon characters. The English drama, Heroines Reunited, added a theatrical charm, while the classical dance-drama on Kalinga Narthanam and the high-energy action dance left everyone spellbound.
The event ended on a patriotic note with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem. The two-day extravaganza perfectly blended creativity, culture, and celebration, leaving everyone with cherished memories and pride.
