On 14th October 2025, our Grade XI students spent a meaningful day at Udavum Karangal, Thiruverkadu, a home that cares for children without parents and people who need support the most.
The students arrived by 10 AM, carrying provisions, clothes, groceries, books, and other essentials to share. The staff and social workers welcomed them with warmth and positivity, so that our students immediately felt a sense of connection.
They watched a short film about the founder of the organisation, who has dedicated his entire life to helping the needy. His story left a strong impact on everyone. Our students then organised fun games and activities for the residents, spreading a lot of laughter and joy. Gifts were shared, hands were held, and hearts were touched.
Before leaving, the students promised to continue visiting places like this and to keep helping whenever they can. Each volunteer also received a certificate appreciating their efforts, and our school extended financial support to the organisation as well.
It was a day that reminded us of all the power of a simple act of kindness. Our students returned with a deeper sense of gratitude and with a bright spark to serve others.
