Academic Coordinator

Minimum Experience: 10 Years

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate lady Academic Coordinator to join our esteemed team and play a key role in enhancing the academic excellence of our students. Job Description:

• Report to the school at 8.30 AM on all working days

• Collaborate with the Principal to plan and implement a high-quality academic program that meets the needs of all students across all campuses of Swamy's group of schools

• Work with the Principal to monitor academic progress and ensure that all academic activities are conducted smoothly

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Principals, teachers, students, and parents, to promote academic excellence and success

• Conduct regular evaluations of academic progress and make recommendations for improvement based on data and evidence

• Identify students who are struggling academically and work with teachers and parents to provide appropriate interventions and support to help them succeed

• Coordinate teacher training and professional development programs to ensure that all teachers are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality instruction

• Participate in the recruitment and selection of teachers when needed to ensure that the school has a highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff

• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as universities, industry partners, and community organizations, to support academic programs and enhance student learning opportunities

• Conduct regular inspections of all campuses to assess the quality of teaching and academic activities and provide feedback and corrective measures to improve performance

• Monitor compliance with CBSE guidelines, rules, and regulations and inform the Management of any changes or updates in a timely manner

• Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement policies and procedures related to academic issues, such as grading, assessment, and promotion

• Develop and implement programs to promote student engagement, motivation, and success

• Collaborate with the school counsellor to ensure that students' social-emotional needs are addressed and to provide support for students experiencing academic difficulties

• Develop and implement programs to promote academic enrichment, such as summer camps, afterschool programs, and academic competitions

• Facilitate parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and provide support for parents in promoting their children's academic success

• Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement strategies for improving the school's academic performance, such as adopting new teaching methods, introducing new technology, or revising the curriculum

• Report regularly to the Director and Correspondent on academic progress, issues, and initiatives, and collaborate with them to develop and implement strategies for improvement

• Act as a role model for all teachers and staff by demonstrating exemplary attendance, punctuality, and professionalism in all aspects of their work

• Take the initiative to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative strategies to enhance the academic quality of Swamy's group of schools. Constantly seek new ideas, approaches, and best practices from research and other sources to improve teaching and learning

Required Profile: At least 10 years of teaching experience in Sec/Sr.Sec classes in CBSE schools, leadership skills and well-versed with NEP norms.

Qualification: Master’s Degree with B.Ed/M.Ed
